I do not know the exact date of the following article, nor the name of the newspaper in which it appeared. Mrs. Rhoads wrote a note on the reverse side of the article which states that it appeared in "the Chadron paper." The ads on the reverse side indicate that the paper was published a few days before December 29, and the article states Mrs. Rhoads's age as 87, so the approximate date is December 27, 1975.
